The Story Behind Our Villa in the Marche Region

Our villa has a rich history dating back to the 15th century, documented in historical records. Originally inhabited by a small rural aristocracy, its proximity to a river was crucial for agriculture and livestock farming during that era. The decision to acquire and restore this property was deeply inspired by its historical significance and the enchanting surroundings of the Marche region.

Anna, the owner, shares her perspective: "When we first laid eyes on this villa with a 'for sale' sign, my husband's passion for historical architecture drove us to pursue its acquisition. The restoration process was meticulous, honoring the villa's heritage while integrating modern comforts. We aimed to create a harmonious blend of ancient charm and contemporary luxury, preserving the authenticity of the villa."

Our Hopes for the Guests' Experience

At Torre Anna, our ultimate goal is to provide guests with an unforgettable experience that goes beyond luxury accommodation. We hope that amidst the beauty of our villa and the Marche region, guests find moments of serenity and inspiration.

Anna expresses her aspirations: "We envision guests leaving Torre Anna with cherished memories of relaxation, discovery, and connection. Whether it's basking in the sun by the pool, exploring the region's cultural treasures, or savoring local cuisine, we want guests to feel rejuvenated and enriched by their stay."

Inspiration Behind Choosing the Marche Region

The Marche region, though lesser-known compared to destinations like Tuscany or Sardinia, captivated us with its diverse landscape. From majestic mountains to rolling hills and the Adriatic Sea, the region offers a breathtaking setting for a villa retreat. Its rich cultural heritage, including nearby Roman ruins, further adds to its allure.

Anna reflects on the decision: "The Marche region stole our hearts with its picturesque scenery and hidden gems. We were drawn to its tranquility and authenticity, away from the bustling tourist crowds. It felt like the perfect setting to create a sanctuary where guests could immerse themselves in nature and history."
